Needs Assessments on Climate Change??

Have any of you been involved or know about needs assessment in you state or region, on climate change adaptation. I am trying to evaluate different processes for undertaking a full needs assessment so if you have an example or case studies, especially of those done at a larger scale, like at a state level, please let me know. I'm looking for specific examples of those that either took place recently or are ongoing.

I'd like to add to this that Adrienne Antoine at NOAA is also looking for needs assessments on sea level rise for the National Climate Assessment.  You may want to contact her - and other network folks, if you have any to add please send them to both Vicky and Adrienne!
