Assembly Report

SGCN needs to provide report to the Assembly at Assembly meeting, to be held at Sea Grant Week, New Orleans.  Meeting time for report is 2 pm, 17 October.   I've been tasked to provide report, as Assembly liaison.Jim Hurley set deadline of 8 October to provide report.....or we bring 50 copies of report to meeting and a word document.      How do we want to proceed.  I can bring copies if we can't meet 8 October deadline. Human Health and infectious disease

I find this latest report from the Center for Disease Control rather interesting. In many of the human health models related to climate change, it was long projected that the spread of new infectious diseases liikeDengue Virus would occur.  Don’t know if this will spread will occur, but it does appearthis disease has made its foothold in Florida.. FYI. You may have read or seen information on news about the falsification of data and/or hiding of data on climate change. The Union of Concerned Scientists have information and are providing a "balanced response" to what they see as being misrepresented in the press.
