Thinking about the future
I've never done a blog before - but I have had a few thoughts I felt might be worth sharing. For those of you who don't know, I am a Knauss Fellow working in the National Sea Grant Office. I coordinate 2 focus teams - Sustainable Coastal Development and Hazard Resilient Coastal Communities. At the same time, I am working on finishing my PhD on the population genetics of three invasive species: round goby, zebra mussel, and quagga mussel. Air pollution is related to forest decline and also appears to attack the protecting wax on tree leaves and needles.
